Wonderful Anniversary Stay

We booked last minute for our anniversary. It turned out to be a great decision. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The spa was relaxing, and it helped us unwind after a chaotic life with three kids. We left feeling rested! The hotel is gorgeous, and the staff was great.
I didn't even have the room I originally booked. Cups were not clean, and there was mould around the showers. I called down to reception to ask for water, but it never arrived. The swimming pool area felt very dated and not to the high standards of the hotel.

We had a wonderful family stay over Christmas. The setting includes beautiful grounds. The rooms were spacious. Lounges and dining rooms were lovely.
Getting to the room involved many doors and steps and the signage could be improved.

the victorian architecture impressed me combined with modern facilities. i found the pool and steam room relaxing. the breakfast quality was excellent, i also appreciated the evening meal taste and presentation. i felt valued by the staff .
the room i had was slightly warm i could open a window to cool it down but i forgot my pyjamas.

We booked the hotel last minute for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was the best decision ever! we was like we had escaped straight into the countryside. the hotel grounds are gorgeous, so peaceful and relaxing. the spa was just what we both needed. We left feeling rested and closer than ever.
the sound on the tv in the bar and lounge area was off, it was super quiet, and everyone was conscious of talking and relaxing.

the pools, sauna, and jacuzzi are very clean. there is also the added bonus of having drinks at the pool. there is plenty of parking available at the hotel.

The staff are helpful and greeted us with a smile. we asked for water. The staff instantly gave bottles of still and sparkling water. staff were very informative throughout our stay.

the food was delicious, each dish of high quality and packed with flavor! breakfast offered a buffet with a full english breakfast alongside continental options. i sampled desserts, and they were some of the best i've ever tasted.

The room was lovely, spacious and calm and well furnished. The bathroom was amazing. our superior double room had a king-sized bed. It was so comfortable that it made getting up a challenge! i took beautiful photos in the room.

The location is fantastic, not far from the train station. I could travel into london easily. the hotel is a short drive from the main area. it is set in beautiful grounds that are peaceful!
